Crystal S. Carlisle
Crystal began working with The Brocker Law Firm, PA in December of 2012. She concentrates her practice in licensing and disciplinary matters including representation of attorneys, bar candidates, physicians and medical professionals, insurance and bail agents, therapists/counselors and contractors, among others.
Crystal graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Science in Criminal Justice-Forensic Science. She later relocated to Michigan with her husband and attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School at night while working full-time. While attending law school, she completed an externship with U.S. District Court Judge Janet T. Neff and served as Senior Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. Crystal graduated from law school magna cum laude – in the top 3% of her class.
Crystal formerly practiced law in Michigan for three years, primarily handling civil litigation matters, before relocating back to her home state of North Carolina. She is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the 10th Judicial District Bar, and the Wake County Bar Association. She is also a member of the Wake County Bar Association/Tenth District Professionalism Committee. Her Michigan State Bar license is currently in inactive status.
When not practicing law, Crystal enjoys reading and vacationing at Ocean Isle Beach, NC with her family. She is a member of Salem Baptist Church in Apex, North Carolina.
