The Brocker Law Firm Retained as Counsel for NC Board of Counselors

Doug Brocker and The Brocker Law Firm, P.A., were recently selected and are looking forward to serving as Counsel for the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors, which has more than 15,000 active licensees.  Doug and the Firm will take over representation of the Board from the Attorney General’s office at the end of May 2024 on a wide range of legal issues, including representation in ethics and disciplinary matters and litigation, interpretation and drafting of statutes, administrative rules and policy positions, advice on open meetings and public records issues, and providing general legal advice.  The Firm looks forward to assisting the Board in its important role in regulating the LCMHC profession and protecting the public.  Doug and the Firm have served in a similar capacity with the North Carolina State Board of Dental Examiners for the last decade.
