Clare Kurdys

Attorney

Clare Kurdys joined The Brocker Law Firm, P.A. in March of 2026. Her practice is focused on ethics, licensing, and disciplinary matters, providing counsel and representation to professionals in North Carolina.

A Tar Heel twice over, Clare graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2020. During law school, she interned with the Honorable Judge Allegra Collins of the North Carolina Court of Appeals, as well as Fortune 500 tech company, RedHat in Raleigh, NC. Clare also served as a student attorney with the UNC Sexual and Domestic Violence Clinic and the UNC Professional and Graduate Student Honor Court, where she prosecuted and defended students on matters of academic and behavioral misconduct.

After graduation, Clare joined Zaytoun Law in Raleigh, NC as a civil litigator focused on personal injury and appellate litigation. In 2024, she left private practice to take a position with the North Carolina Innocence Inquiry Commission, the nation’s only independent state postconviction review agency. As a staff attorney, Clare trained in advanced forensic sciences and techniques to review claims of factual innocence by convicted persons and lead neutral, third-party investigations. Clare now leverages her skills and experience as both a litigator and an investigator as a member of the Brocker Law Firm team.

Clare considers her most important roles to be mom, wife, and friend, and uses every opportunity to explore nature, create art, and share everyday wonders with her loved ones.
