Our firm represents pharmacists and pharmacy owners in disciplinary matters and those seeking licenses or reinstatement of licenses before the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy. We defend pharmacists and pharmacy owners in all phases of disciplinary matters before the Pharmacy Board, including independently investigating and analyzing the allegations, preparing written responses to the Board when requested or appropriate, preparing clients and attending interviews by Board investigators, obtaining and reviewing reports of investigation from the Board, representing clients at prehearing conferences, negotiating and working out acceptable consent orders with the Board’s counsel, and when necessary defending clients in formal evidentiary hearings before the Board.
Many of the disciplinary cases involve diversion of controlled substances and other drugs, and we work with our clients to develop proactive measures to prevent future diversions. Our firm has had substantial experience and has been able to work out resolutions in connection with numerous prehearing conferences before the Board. We also represent individuals seeking to obtain a license as a pharmacist or to have a license reinstated by the North Carolina Pharmacy Board.
