Our firm routinely represents and defends brokers, realtors, brokerage firms and those seeking licenses or reinstatement of licenses before the North Carolina Real Estate Commission.   We defend brokers and firms in all phases of disciplinary matters before the Real Estate Commission, including independently investigating and analyzing the allegations, preparing written responses to the Commission, preparing and representing clients in interviews by Board investigators, negotiating and working out acceptable consent orders with the Commission’s Legal Department, and when necessary defending clients in formal evidentiary hearings before the Commission.

We also represent individuals seeking to obtain a license as a broker or to have a license reinstated by the Real Estate Commission, including providing prospective advice before applying, representing clients in informal conferences with Commission members and staff counsel on character issues, negotiating acceptable admission orders and, when necessary, representing clients in hearings before the full Commission.
