Whitney represents professionals before various licensing boards and administrative agencies, and counsels clients on ethics, disciplinary, and licensing matters.
Whitney graduated magna cum laude from Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, where she studied Italian Language and Literature. Following college, Whitney attended Wake Forest University Law School, where she was awarded the Brooks Pierce Empirical Studies Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Wake Forest Law Review. During law school, Whitney also clerked for the Honorable Senior Judge Earl Britt, a federal judge for the Eastern District of North Carolina.
Whitney began her career as a civil litigator at an international law firm where she focused on complex business disputes for approximately seven years before moving to local law firms and broadening her practice. Whitney has extensive experience practicing before federal and state courts, and is admitted to practice before North Carolina State Courts, Federal District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, and the U.S .Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
When not practicing law, Whitney enjoys being a mom, learning about world cultures, and going on weekend adventures with her family.
